Hannah Baysinger’s journey to teaching brought her across different continents, to different cultures, and gave her non-traditional classroom experiences.

Malaz Aliomer has created her own path through new experiences and conquered challenges. Now, the University of Iowa student is following her passion for working with children and achieving her goal of earning a degree from the College of Education.

Kristen Rickey, University of Iowa College of Education alumna and superintendent of the West Delaware Community School District, has been named the 2022-23 Iowa Superintendent of the Year by the School Administrators of Iowa.

Amira Nash, associate director of partnerships and programs in the Baker Teacher Leader Center, received a grant from the Community Foundation of Johnson County.

To recognize and celebrate her years of leadership and service, the University of Iowa honored Jodi Linley with the 2022 Marion L. Huit Faculty Award.
