Chris Ogren, a professor in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) program, is a historian of education whose research focuses on the histories of teacher education, schoolteachers, and women and other marginalized students and the higher-education institutions they have attended. 

She recently sat down with Charity Nebbe, host of Iowa Week on Iowa Public Radio, to talk about the national forces that shaped education from the 1960s through today.
