Toni LeFebvre has devoted her time as a graduate student in music education to bring more women into jazz by creating the Iowa Women’s Jazz Orchestra.

Katrina Sanders, associate professor in the Schools, Culture, and Society program, has been awarded a 2019 sabbatical research grant to complete a book project, "The Rise and Fall of Black Catholic Education in a Changing South, 1886-1976."
