President Wilson Visits the Sukup Family Farm

This October, Charles and Mary Sukup welcomed University of Iowa President Barbara Wilson to the Sukup Family Farm in Dougherty, Iowa. President Wilson also enjoyed visiting with the Sukups’ son, Andrew, a proud Hawkeye and graduate of the UI REACH program, who now works with the family business, Sukup Manufacturing Company.

The university is deeply grateful to the Sukup family for their ongoing commitment to supporting student success, including their generous establishment of the Charles & Mary Sukup UI REACH Directorshipheld by William “Bill” Loyd Jr. Their support helps ensure the continued growth and impact of UI REACH, which empowers students with intellectual, cognitive, and learning disabilities to achieve their fullest potential.
