Each year, the Office of the Vice President for Research’s (OVPR) Dare to Discover banner campaign highlights researchers and scholars from across the university. 

Research conducted by Olga Colmenero Carrillo, an undergraduate student in the College of Education’s Elementary Education program, was selected to be featured in this year’s campaign. 

Colmenero, who is from Muscatine, Iowa, focuses on providing high-quality, accessible English language learning (ELL) resources for adults. As a recipient of a Gilman Changemaker Grant, she created a digital platform called All Voices, which provides ELL tools to Eastern Iowa residents.
