University of Iowa undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars are blazing new trails in research, scholarship, and creative activities. Each year, the Office of the Vice President for Research’s (OVPR) Dare to Discover banner campaign highlights 80 researchers and scholars from across the university. 

The following UI College of Education students will be featured on the 2025 Dare to Discover banners that are displayed around Iowa City:

Chris Patterson (Postdoctoral scholar, psychological and quantitative foundations)

Mavis Gyesi (PhD student, higher education and student affairs)

Maria-Victoria Perez (PhD student, higher education and student affairs)

Kun Wang (PhD student, counseling psychology)

Jasmin Msuya (PhD student, literacy culture, and language education)

Aubrey McEnroe (PhD student, counseling psychology)

The banners, the tenth installation of the campaign, will be displayed throughout downtown Iowa City from January to March 2025.
