Gerta Bardhoshi, a professor in the College of Education’s Department of Counselor Education, was recently a guest on Iowa Public Radio’s “Talk of Iowa” podcast.
Bardhoshi, who is a nationally certified counselor, licensed mental health counselor, certified school counselor, and approved clinical supervisor, was part of a panel that was assembled to discuss how social media affects the lives and mental health of teenagers and adults.
Led by Talk of Iowa host Charity Nebbe, the group also explored realistic ways to set boundaries with technology, including limiting screen time.
