Happy “Where Do You Work?” Wednesday! This week meet alumna Lisa Stevenson (BA ’95 Elementary Education, MA ’04 Educational Administration, Ph.D. ’14).
Stevenson is the Director of Instruction at Marshalltown Community School District in Marshalltown, Iowa. She is beginning her third year in the position.
“I love helping others experience and access a strong, quality public education. This includes supporting principals, teachers, staff, and students as well as the community as we build a PS-12thgrade system that personalizes learning for every one of our diverse learners,” says Stevenson.
Stevenson says the UI College of Education helped her experience diversity in the classroom, which sparked her passion to help others grow and learn.
