Teaching begins in the body. This session introduces pre-service teachers to simple yoga and grounding practices they can use to manage stress, stay present during instruction, and model calm for students. Participants will leave with tools they can realistically use during student teaching and early career transitions.

Learning Goals
Students will learn simple grounding technics they can use for themselves and how these can benefit their classroom
Students will experience basic yoga poses and how moving with the breath provides an opportunity for stress relief and emotional regulation.
