What does your job entail in the College of Education Administration Dean's Office?
I am the department administrator for the Educational Leadership and Higher Education and Student Affairs programs. I manage the day-to-day operations of the department including human resources, finance, and student affairs.

What is your favorite part about working at the College of Education?
Every day is challenging and interesting. A nice break in my day is when faculty and students stop by my desk to say hello and visit.

What is your favorite memory as a Hawkeye?

Homecoming parade with my sister. I look forward to it every year.

What are your hobbies, interests, or special talents? What would colleagues be surprised to know about you?
A few things my colleagues might not know about me are that I am the president of my local school board, and I will be the president of the College of Education Staff Council, so there are plenty of opportunities where people can complain to me! Most nights, you will find me watching crime dramas and doing a puzzle.

Where is your favorite place to eat in downtown Iowa City?
Anywhere with a patio!

What is something on campus that you look forward to participating in or doing?
My daughter will be a freshman next year, and I'm looking forward to volunteering at On Iowa! activities.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? (No limitations)
New Zealand
