Bellinda Assemien has worked as a coordinator of student field experiences in the College of Education's Office of Student Services for five years.
What does your job entail in the College of Education?
My main job responsibility entails managing the placement of our secondary education students for practicum and student teaching.
What is your favorite part about working at the College of Education?
My favorite part about working in the College of Education are my colleagues. It is truly a privilege to work with such conscientious, dedicated, and kind colleagues who are committed to providing excellent customer service to all our stakeholders.
What's your favorite memory as a Hawkeye?

What are your hobbies, interests, or special talents? What would colleagues be surprised to know about you?
Hiking, baking, arts and crafts, and gardening.

The Dandy Lion
What is something on campus that you look forward to participating in or doing?
Too many to choose! Recitals at Voxman, shows at Hancher, Hawkeye basketball at Carver, Hawkeye Football at Kinnick!
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? (No limitations)
I'd go to Alaska or Iceland to see the Northern Lights.
