Hello and happy “Where Do You Work” Wednesday! This week meet Mark Plum (BA ‘01 Elementary Education with an endorsement in reading and a minor in Spanish).

Originally from Sheldon, Iowa, Plum works as a middle and high school dual language teacher for the West Liberty Community School District, and has for 20 years.

Plum loves working with the students and the opportunity to show them the beauty of the Spanish Language.

Plum says the University of Iowa College of Education always helped him dream big.

In 2011, Plum returned to Iowa to receive a master’s degree in Spanish Linguistics (‘13).
