Atlantic Middle School is working with the College of Education to not only get kids excited about STEM but to help rural students learn about the value of college through the STEM Excellence and Leadership program.

“I’ve seen some students make 180-degree turnarounds in terms of their classroom attitude and behavior,” says science teacher Andrea Reilly, a UI College of Education alumna.
