Susan Assouline, director of the Belin-Blank Center at the University of Iowa College of Education, as well as UI College of Education alumna, Gabriela Rivera, earned awards at the UI's annual Celebration of Excellence and Achievement Among Women. Assouline earned the May Brodbeck Distinguished Achievement Award for Faculty and Rivera earned the Susan C. Buckley Distinguished Achievement Award for Staff.
