University of Iowa College of Education alumna Laura Boddicker tells her story, offers insight into mental health needs of veterans, and talks about the many benefits of the College of Education's I-SERVE program, which stands for Support, Education, Resources for Veterans and Enlisted. Boddicker earned a master’s in rehabilitation and mental health counseling from the UI College of Education. She currently serves as the I-SERVE Board alumni relations specialist.
