College of Education Undergraduate Commencement and Teacher Education Program Recognition Ceremony promotional image

College of Education Undergraduate Commencement and Teacher Education Program Recognition Ceremony is held at the end of the semester to recognize all of the graduating Teacher Education Program students.

Doors open one hour prior to the start of the ceremony. No tickets required.

A livestream of the ceremony is available.

Dean Dan Clay will give the welcome, and will confer degrees along with Executive Vice President and Provost Kevin Kregel. 

Jon Sexton, an alumnus of the College of Education, will be the keynote speaker. Sexton is the senior vice president of culture and leadership at Vibrant Credit Union and the founder of Sexton Leadership.

Meredith Caskey, visiting instructor in elementary physical education, health, and wellness, will be the faculty speaker. Kaitlin Felderman, from Delmar, Iowa, will be the student speaker. Felderman is graduating with a degree in Social Studies Education, as well as a degree in History from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. 

Mark McDermott, associate dean for teacher education and student services, will recognize those who completed the Teacher Education Program.
