In our increasingly digital age, it may seem as though handwriting instruction is a thing of the past. However, explicit handwriting instruction can increase a variety of student literacy outcomes, including letter/word recognition, spelling, and writing length/quality.

Caregivers, educators, and administrators are invited to join us on Tuesday, September 23 at 4pm for a FREE webinar led by IRRC Director Shawn Datchuk, in which we will learn more about the importance of handwriting fluency, as well as how to assess student handwriting. Plus, hear about the newest LIFTER materials — the IRRC's free, handwriting instruction application now includes assessment materials!

This webinar is a no-cost event that will include a brief presentation as well as time for a live Q&A with IRRC staff.
