Instructional Strategies for Building Academic Talent in Primary Learners

Description: Come join us for an exciting primary classroom session. The focus will be on inquiry-based learning as well as engineering solutions for a problem that still might exist for characters in picture books. You will walk away with practical, ready-to-go strategies and ideas to engage young learners and quench their sense of wonder.

Learning goals: 1) Identify components of building primary talent. 2) Apply inquiry-based learning. 3) Apply engineering thinking to lesson development. 4) Discuss the importance of building primary talent in schools.
