Maximizing Your Time Through a Culture of Belonging

Presenter: Dr. Allison Bruhn, Executive Director, Scanlan Center for School Mental Health and Professor of Special Education

Description: In this session, participants will learn how to create effective and efficient classroom environments that maximize their instructional time. We will focus on how to build a culture of belonging through positive teacher-student relationships, evidence-based classroom management practices, and instructional supports. We will listen, laugh, interact, and grow together in this engaging session!

Learning Goals: 1) Participants will gain an understanding about the barriers and facilitators to maximizing instructional time. 2) Participants will learn and apply strategies to create effective and efficient classroom environments that create a culture of belonging.
