The Pedagogies of Teaching, Learning, and Assessing for Global Perspectives

Description: This workshop is MANDATORY for students in the GO Track. What are the pedagogies that drive successful learning outcomes in programs and curricula that include teaching and learning for global perspectives? What does it mean to center social-justice education to promote more inclusive spaces for teaching and learning? This workshop will examine several case studies and examples of curriculum design strategies for teaching and learning for global perspectives using the UN Sustainable Development Goals and UN Human Rights Declaration as frameworks. 

Learning Goals: 1) Understanding global education and its application to practice. 2) Examining case studies using UN SDGs. 3) Creating mini-lesson about global topics.
