Behavioral Treatment for Tics, Habits, and Stereotypies

Description: This workshop will explore tics, habits, and stereotypies, which occur for 10-25% of children, from a behavioral perspective. Though topographically they may present similar, this workshop will explore the differences between the behaviors, the behavioral model, and approaches to treatment. 

Learning Goals: 1) Recognize differences between common repetitive motor movement behaviors. 2) Conceptualize tics, habits, and stereotypies from a behavioral perspective. 3) Describe behavioral interventions used for tics, habits, and stereotypes.
