Amanda Case, PhD

Associate Professor

Introduction

Amanda Case, PhD joined the faculty in the College of Education at the University of Iowa in 2024 as an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology. Prior to this, she was an Associate Professor at Purdue University and at Washington College. Amanda earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009. Her engaged research promotes youth well-being and educational success by working alongside community-based organizations to explore how these essential systems support youth outcomes. In addition, she has partnered with a range of community-based programs to design and implement strengths-based inclusive practices and explore effective methods for preparing out-of-school-time staff.
