TLC/ML Workshop 2: Reading and Vocabulary Support for Multilingual Learners

Description: The session on reading and vocabulary development aligns with the Core Principle of developing learners' skills and supporting their intellects. Upon completion of the workshop, you will be able to deliver and facilitate content learning for multilingual learners through reading and vocabulary development scaffolding strategies such as using visuals, structured pairing, and graphic organizers. 

Learning Objective:   

1. We will learn useful concepts about vocabulary and reading in a second language.  

2. We will discuss how to support and guide vocabulary development and reading comprehension in the classroom.
