Please register here. TLC Credit: IS, AATD

Presenter:  Mike Keller-Wilson, MFA

Description: The teaching of writing in any capacity is a challenge, so it’s no surprise that teachers find it challenging to incorporate enrichment strategies and engaging prompts that invite differentiation. In this session, we’ll briefly discuss the Why of writing instruction and enrichment before exploring some specific prompts and strategies that you can steal for your own classrooms. Write on!

Learning Goals: 1) Discuss effective writing instruction. 2) Discuss enrichment in writing. 3) Apply writing prompts and instructional strategies.
