Presenter(s): Fall residents Kevin Chen (Taiwan), Tammy Lai-Ming Ho and Wong Yi Eva (Hong Kong), Li Kotomi (Taiwan & Japan), Shi Yifeng, Suo Er, and Wang Zhanhei (PRC), moderated by translator and poet Jennifer Feeley. 

Description: The UI International Writing Program and the Center for Asian Pacific Studies will be hosting a bilingual reading featuring 2023 Fall residents Kevin Chen (Taiwan), Tammy Lai-Ming Ho and Wong Yi Eva (Hong Kong), Li Kotomi (Taiwan & Japan), Shi Yifeng, Suo Er, and Wang Zhanhei (PRC), moderated by translator and poet Jennifer Feeley. 

Learning goals: 1.) Foster curiosity and interest in the world’s cultures, communities, and contexts; 2.) Create connections to global and local complex challenges that impact the shared human experience; 3.) Design and engage/implement cross-cultural experiences connected to content-area programs and the development of global competencies.
