Presenter: Cheryl Ferguson, MSEd, BSEd. PhD Candidate Learning Sciences and Educational Psychology; ETC Graduate Assistant; ILEND Graduate; Dementia Friend Champion.

Description: This is an introduction to the ETCs new VR headsets. This workshop will include an overview of the headset technology including a demonstration of the hardware and participants' use of the headset's setup program. Possible ways to integrate this technology into curriculum at multiple grade levels with the participants engaging in a group VR experience and time to explore the possible programs on your own. 

Learning goals: 1. Students will discuss the use of VR in the classroom 2. Students develop basic skills needed to work with VR Headsets such as setting a guardian circle, use of the handheld interface and other introductory skills. 3. Students will start to explore the one of the VR programs available.
