You Are a Catalyst

Description: Teachers are the most important school-based factor for student success. This seems to be especially true for students who are identified for gifted education/talent development programs. This session will help you understand how teachers can better understand gifts and talent development, making a difference for their students. What is a catalyst, and how can you be the best possible catalyst for students?

Learning goals: Discuss the role teachers play in student success. Introduce the concept of talent development.
