Review of Application and Admission Decisions

  • Applicants may only apply to one specific licensure area at a time.
  • Teacher Education Program admission is selective and is based on a faculty review of all application components.
  • Meeting the minimum criteria does not ensure program admission. Selection is determined by academic achievement as reflected in grade‐point average and test scores, aptitude as reflected by recommendations and personal statements and the ability of the given program area to provide quality instruction and clinical and field experiences.
  • Applications will only be considered by the faculty when all requirements (including test score minimums) are complete.
  • Some program areas may reach capacity before the final deadlines.
