About the Artwork

The ceramic pieces by Francesca Lindh in the Lindquist Collection not only share a similar pastel color palette (emphasizing pink, lavender, yellow, and blue), but also they share an exploration of texture. Here, the stippled surface of the clay tile contrast the precisely incised lines surrounding the flower. Lindh's "chop," or signature is along the bottom edge of the tile.
