About the Artwork
The artist build the composition using geometric shapes, primarily triangles. The combination of the shapes and contrasting colors suggests the print is simultaneously folding in on itself and expanding outward like an accordion. The style of the work reveals the artist's interest in Cubism, and it is reminiscent of Paul Klee's and Pablo Picasso's in the late 1910s and 1920s.
