Dr. Laura Fuller is a native of Iowa City. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Iowa in 1997, followed by 2 years of postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Throughout her career, Dr. Fuller has been interested in helping youth with challenging behavior, and became interested in Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) in 2004 when she helped to implement the CPS approach at Shodair Children’s Hospital in Helena, MT. Dr. Fuller is a certified provider of CPS and is a founding board member for Lives in the Balance, Dr. Ross Greene’s nonprofit organization. She joined the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry in 2012 and is board certified in child/adolescent clinical psychology. Dr. Fuller has given dozens of presentations and workshops on CPS over the past 15 years.
