Instructor: Mike Anderson is a certified Wilderness First Aid Instructor and CPR Instructor with over 8 years of experience teaching over 20 Wilderness First Aid classes. 

This class is perfect for those that work in the outdoors, travel or vacation in the outdoors, and those interested in building upon their first aid training. Wilderness First Aid certification takes place on the following dates, and participants must attend the entire time: 
     -Friday, May 17th from 6-9 p.m. (CPR testing and introduction to Wilderness First Aid)
     -Saturday, May 18th from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Wilderness First Aid training)

More information from the instructor will come about 1 week before the class, including a list of special items to bring. Be prepared to bring a reusable water bottle and a sack lunch. There will be a lunch break allowing participants to leave campus briefly to have lunch if necessary. Be prepared to be outdoors on ICNC trails for the majority of this training and dress appropriately for the weather.

Current CPR certification is required to attend the Wilderness First Aid training. Bring your a copy of your CPR credentials with you. CPR certification will be offered on Friday, May 17th for an additional fee of $50 for those without current CPR certification, or with a certification close to expiring. GO HERE to register for the CPR certification.  


Cost: $155.00 per Participant. We will subsidize half the cost, so students need to reach out to William Coghill-Behrends directly to arrange for reimbursement.
