Approximately 65% of students with disabilities are educated in general education settings for the majority of their school day. It is necessary that both general and special education teachers understand the IEP process, identify their role in implementing the plan, contribute to discussions, and collect data related to IEP goals. This workshop will cover the basics of an IEP to support all learners with special needs.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact the Baker Teacher Leader Center, 319-335-5623, in advance.
