Sessions will be led by coaches, content area experts, and faculty at the University of Iowa. Participants will learn about research on implicit racial bias and apply lessons learned to K-12 settings, both at the individual and the systems level and explore personal racial identities and how that impacts an educator's work. Strategies for overcoming implicit bias and plans for implementing the strategies and improve the ability to analyze data through the lens of racial equity will also be covered.
