Presenter: Traci Molloy

This presentation will provide an overview on how symptoms of trauma, along with the effects of poverty, manifest in classrooms. The talk will focus on the hands-on art projects Brooklyn-based artist and educational activist Traci Molloy has made in partnership with youth that have experienced individual and collective traumas, including refugees, children who lost a parent on 9/11/01, adolescents impacted by the opiate crisis, and disenfranchised individuals from rural and urban backgrounds. Sample lesson plans and projects educators can integrate into their respective classrooms will be provided to audience members.

Refreshments will be served!
