This workshop series is specifically designed for the elementary education teacher candidate, helping you to prepare for the day you have your very own classroom. During these workshops, you will start to build a notebook which will serve as your “collection box” filled with templates and ideas; allowing you to hit the ground running as soon as you secure your first teaching position. This workshop will focus on daily routines, and what works best for you students. We will discuss over 25 daily classroom routines - helping you to establish your expectations.

Note: You do not need to attend the workshops in this series in order, nor do you need to attend all of them.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact the Baker Teacher Leader Center, 319-335-5623, in advance.
