The national, state, and local elections in November, 2020, are absolutely critical and we believe everyone who is eligible to should exercise their right and do so.

We also know that regardless of the outcome of the election, we will have abolitionist work to do. How do we forward our agenda with those who are elected?

Join our panelists for a timely and engaging discussion: Rodney Robinson (2019 National Teacher of the Year); Mandy Manning (2018 National Teacher of the Year); Ifeoma Ike, Esquire (Social Equity Founder @PinkCornRows); Loira Limbal (Director of Through the Night); and Bettina Love (Co-Founder of Abolitionist Teaching Network)

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact the Baker Teacher Leader Center, 319-335-5623, in advance.
