Recording of the virtual meeting held on May 1, 2020. The foundational UN Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights (UNGPs) (which Mr. Sherman helped create) have been broadly endorsed by companies, governments, and institutions around the world. They describe a corporate responsibility to take action to respect human rights and mitigate any adverse human rights impact of company actions. How are the UNGPs useful in understanding corporate responsibility during COVID-19?
