Learning Objectives: (1) to help the trainees get an understanding of how life changing and potentially devastating a diagnosis might be for an individual or parent and the benefit of a compassionate delivery of that information; (2) to help trainees understand the importance of early diagnosis on the trajectory of an individual’s life; (3) to enhance the trainees understanding of how meaningful and valuable every person’s life is, regardless of how severe their disability, and the positive impact they have on their families and those around them
