This module describes how teachers can help students stay on task by learning to regulate their behavior. The four strategies discussed are self-monitoring, self-instruction, goal-setting, and self-reinforcement (est. completion time: 1-1.5 hours). The content of this module aligns with the following SEL core competencies of the Collaborative for Academic and Social Emotional Learning (CASEL): Self-management and responsible decision-making.
