Learn what it means to be a Girls on the Run coach (hint: you do not need to be a runner!) and how you can get involved. Girls on the Run is committed to empowering 3rd-6th grade girls in our community through research-backed curriculum delivered by volunteer coaches. While learning powerful life lessons, girls also train to complete a 5k event at the end of 10 week season. And our coaches are the ones who make the magic happen! Learn all about the curriculum, time commitment, coach training, and anything else you want to know about being a coach!

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact the Baker Teacher Leader Center, 319-335-5623, in advance.
