April book: You Can Fly: The Tuskegee Airmen by Carole Boston Weatherford

The military has not always been kind to soldiers of color. In this work of fiction, Weatherford teams up with her son, artist Jeffery Boston Weatherford, to tell the story of the Tuskegee Airmen. The fictional second-person poems in this book tell the story of the important men who broke the color barrier during World War II.
