The Double Robot is an assistive device. For students with disabilities that may be homebound due to their disability or illness the robot can act as their double at school. The robot is located in the classroom and is operated from the remote location. The iPad “head” of the robot displays the face of the remote student and allows them to interact with the classroom, teacher, and students. This presentation will review the underlying technologies that control the robot and a live demonstration.
