Dr. Damita Brown has taught leadership, anti-racism, writing and social justice at the college level in workshop settings for over 20 years.
- The lab will focus on these areas:
- Broaden your understanding how you invest in existing structural racism
- Create a racial justice profile that identifies attainable goals
- Create a day to day action plan that provides effective steps for breaking racist patterns
- Develop spoken and behavioral interventions that interrupt harm
- End blame and shame in your anti-racism work
- Create support networks for interrupting race based privilege
- Participate in community based projects that build alternative institutional support for anti-racism work
