Dr. Damita Brown has taught leadership, anti-racism, writing and social justice at the college level in workshop settings for over 20 years.

  • The lab will focus on these areas:
  • Broaden your understanding how you invest in existing structural racism
  • Create a racial justice profile that identifies attainable goals
  • Create a day to day action plan that provides effective steps for breaking racist patterns
  • Develop spoken and behavioral interventions that interrupt harm
  • End blame and shame in your anti-racism work
  • Create support networks for interrupting race based privilege
  • Participate in community based projects that build alternative institutional support for anti-racism work
