Through interactive activities and dialogue, participants will learn how institutional racism impacts students and use strategies to confront systemic racism. Participants will spend time addressing racism and culturally misaligned instructional practices that impact children using an intersectional lens. By the end of this session, participants will gain strategies to address anti-racism in their classrooms, explore anti-racism as it relates to their pedagogy to foster culturally responsive classroom environments.
