Presenter: Kelly Pelzel, PhD

Dr. Pelzel is a licensed psychologist and a clinical assistant professor working in UIHC’s Child & Adolescent Psychiatry division. She received her BA from UNI and her PhD from the University of Utah. Dr. Pelzel provides assessment and treatment services for children and adolescents. She also is involved with intervention research. Additionally, Dr. Pelzel is the psychology technical consultant for the Regional Autism Assistance Program and clinical coordinator for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital Autism Center. Dr. Pelzel is interested in evidence-based therapies for young children with and without autism.
