Steven Triplett, a new clinical instructor in educational leadership, has served in a variety of leadership roles over the past three decades across the state of Iowa.

He now seeks to use the many roles he has experienced in his career to help facilitate a great learning experience for his students.

Prior to joining the College of Education in January 2017, Triplett worked as the Program Director for STEM and K-12 Initiatives at ACT for five years. Prior to joining ACT, Triplett spent fifteen years in the Fairfield Community School District, serving as middle school principal for ten years, and superintendent for five years. He received his Master of Science in Educational Administration from Western Illinois University, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Administration from Iowa State University.

“School administration is a challenging and rewarding profession which allows these individuals an opportunity to positively impact students, staff, and their community,” Triplett says. “The time spent and effort given within their clinical experiences is critical to their initial and ongoing success as school administrators.”
